Mentoring Initiative
The Mentoring Initiative is a collaboration between the Office of Migrant Education and the National HEP-CAMP Association with the goal of building stronger HEP and CAMP programs. Since 2011, HEP and CAMP directors with fewer 3 years’ experience have been paired with seasoned directors who serve as mentors to provide technical assistance and support. Mentors assist with solutions and strategies in order to address project issues such as, Recruitment, Budget, Project Administration, and other areas of need. The Mentoring Initiative is led by CAMP and HEP Subject Matter Experts.
